I agree. It should be like that. That way, everyone can get it, as long as they participate.

Still doesn't seem like they needed to nerf it though. I did 37 games before they had the new build, and I only saw 2 afkers. Oh well, if it's as bad as Fort Aspenwood, (which people seem to say it is) then it needed a nerf.

They didn't have the foresight to see this problem mounting when it has existed for months, and taken the necessary steps to prevent the abuse? If the ales were being sold, change the code of the ales being rewarded so they're similar to a preorder item so you can't trade/sell/drop at all. You could toss'em around your account and add drunkard points to your toons as you wish, and not disrupt the economy.

Given that this is supposed to be fun, having players quit on our team isn't exactly fun either. I'd rather the leechers + reward for losing than quitters wasting three other people's time.

As far as Alliance Battles are concerned, if there are only 5 games (apparently) occuring at a time, would it really be that difficult to get 5 devs to periodically check for an AFK/leecher and time them out?

As it is now, It's wonderful.

When I loose, then I just try again. Good sportsmanship is easy.
When I win, then I get 3 Candy Cane Shards and congradulate the other team.

If they made it so that you got a random item every time you gave it to your god, then teams would work together until they got ahold of a present. Then they would do whatever possible to make sure their team member dropped it so they could pick it up and get the prize. Where's the team work in that?

Leave it as is. If you lose, try try again.
